Reinforced steel is one of the most important building materials in civil engineering and improving intelligence reinforcement can greatly promote intelligent development construction industry. This research addressed problems slow speed poor accuracy manually extracting rebar processing information, which leads to a low degree intelligence. Firstly, based on digital image technology, preprocessing methods such as binarization grayscale were used eliminate redundant information detail drawing rebar. An segmentation method pixel statistics was proposed store geometric non-geometric separately. Next, bending angle extracted by line thinning corner detection, direction bar determined mathematical characteristics vector product. Finally, combining morphological algorithm Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine. According sequence, an mapping realize integration information. The applicability this for bar’s tested experiments, it shown that also provides theoretical basis realizing intelligentization informatization processing.
